Terms and conditions
Who you contract with, how quotes and payments work, and your rights.
Last updated: 25 October 2026.
1. Who you are dealing with
This website and the services described on it are provided by S&K Property Investments and Improvement Ltd, trading as Triple-Glazed Windows, registered in England and Wales (company number 16932889), registered office Unit 1 Hembs Crescent, Great Barr, Birmingham B43 5DG. Your contract for windows, doors or glass is with S&K Property Investments and Improvement Ltd.
2. Guide prices
Prices on this website and from the guide-price tool are guides only. They are not offers. The price you pay is set by the written quote we give you after a survey.
3. Surveys and quotes
Surveys are free and carry no obligation. For islands and some remote districts we confirm survey arrangements and any travel cost before booking. Your written quote lists each item, its specification and the price, which is fixed for that specification. A quote is valid for the period stated on it. If something not visible at survey is found during fitting (for example a rotten sub-cill or a structural problem), we will explain it and agree any extra cost with you before doing extra work.
4. Deposits and payment
The deposit, payment stages and how to pay are set out on your quote and contract before you agree to anything. We do not take payment through this website.
5. Made-to-measure goods
Windows and doors are made to your measurements and specification.
6. Cancelling (consumers)
Windows and doors are made to your specification, so the statutory 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply to them (regulation 28(1)(b)). We give you our own right instead: if you agree the contract at your home, elsewhere away from our premises or at a distance, you can cancel for any reason within 14 days of the contract date by telling us in writing (email is fine), and we refund any payment within 14 days. We do not order from the manufacturer during those 14 days unless you ask us to in writing. If you do ask and then cancel, you pay only for goods already made to your specification and for work done at your request. Your written contract pack, given to you before you sign, includes this cancellation information and a cancellation form.
7. Your statutory rights
If you are a consumer, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 gives you rights that goods are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described, and that services are carried out with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms affects those rights.
8. Guarantees and Building Regulations
Guarantees for frames, sealed units and fitting are set out in writing on your quote and handover pack. In England and Wales, replacement windows and doors are signed off through a competent person scheme or building control, as the Building Regulations require, and you receive the certificate. In Scotland and Northern Ireland a straight replacement needs no building warrant or building notice; we fit to the building standards and give you a written handover pack.
9. Business customers
If you buy as a business, sections 6 and 7 do not apply, and our liability for indirect or consequential loss is excluded to the extent the law allows.
10. Liability
We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to exclude. For consumers, we are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breaking this contract or failing to use reasonable care and skill.
11. Website content
We take care that guides on this website are accurate at the date shown, but rules change; check the current rules with your council or building control before relying on them. Product images on this website are computer-generated and are not our completed jobs.
12. Complaints
Email info@triple-glazed-windows.com with your name, postcode and the issue. We will acknowledge it and respond in writing. If we cannot resolve your complaint, we will tell you in writing which alternative dispute resolution (ADR) provider is available and whether we will use it.
13. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can bring proceedings in your own courts and the mandatory consumer protections of your local law apply.
