Is it right for your home?

A good fit for

  • Homes with ageing double or single glazing throughout
  • Owners planning to stay for many years
  • Anyone wanting one matched look

Think twice if

  • Recently replaced double glazing in good condition, where the payback is long
  • Mixed needs, where only noisy or cold rooms need upgrading

Options

  • Mix of styles room by room
  • Acoustic glass on noisy elevations
  • Security glass on the ground floor
  • Matching doors
  • Staged replacement over two visits

Is a whole-house upgrade worth it?

If you are replacing single glazing or failing double glazing, yes: the savings, comfort and condensation benefits are real. If your double glazing is modern and sound, the extra energy saving from going triple is small, far less than replacing single glazing, so the case rests on comfort and noise rather than bills. We will tell you which applies to your house.

Planning the job

We sequence the rooms so the house is never left open overnight, protect floors and furniture, and make good the reveals as each window goes in. You get the guarantees and handover pack at the end, with Building Regulations sign-off where your nation requires it.

Questions about whole-house replacement

How much does it cost to triple glaze a 3-bed semi?

Our guide is £9,395 to £11,795 for 9 uPVC windows and a front door, fitted and inc VAT. UK quotes typically range from about £6,500 to £11,000 for windows only.

How long does a whole-house installation take?

Usually 1 to 2 days for a small house and 2 to 4 days for a larger one.

Will I need scaffolding?

Most two-storey homes can be done from ladders or towers. Where scaffolding is needed, it is quoted separately.

Do I need to move out?

No. We work room by room and make each opening weathertight the same day.
