Triple glazed sliding patio doors in the Forth Valley
We survey and fit triple glazed sliding patio doors across the Forth Valley, from Stirling and Falkirk to smaller towns such as Grangemouth.

More glass, less cold: sliders that stay comfortable in winter. A sliding patio door has large glazed panels that slide past each other on a track, so it opens without swinging into the room.

Rules in Scotland
Scotland sets replacement door limits through the Building Standards Technical Handbook (Domestic), section 6: 1.6 W/m²K. Replacing a door or window, frame and all, does not need a building warrant, but the work must still meet the building standards.
Planning: A replacement door on a house that looks similar to the existing one is generally permitted development; check with your council for flats and conservation areas, and listed buildings need listed building consent.
How it works
The surveyor measures every opening, checks ventilation, escape windows and safety-glass zones, and talks through styles. Your written quote lists each item with its glass build-up and U-value, and the price is fixed for that specification.
- Free survey and a written quote fixed for the specification
- Glass build-up and door U-value on every quote
- Written handover pack at the end of the job
- Guarantees on frames, units and fitting in writing
Questions
Do sliding doors need safety glass?
Yes, all door glass must be safety glass. Triple units in sliders are toughened or laminated.
Can I have a level threshold?
Low thresholds are available; they need a suitable drainage detail outside, which we check on survey.
Are triple glazed sliding doors hard to open?
Not with correctly rated rollers. Lift-and-slide gear makes even very large panels easy to move.
Do you cover all of the Forth Valley?
We arrange surveys and fitting across the Forth Valley.
Do I need permission for triple glazed sliding patio doors in Scotland?
In Scotland, a replacement door on a house that looks similar is generally permitted development; check with your council for flats and conservation areas, and listed buildings need consent.
