Triple glazed bifold doors in Bridport
If you live in Bridport (DT6) and want triple glazed bifold doors, start with a free survey: every opening measured, then a written quote that fixes the price.
Open the wall in summer, keep the warmth in winter. Bifold doors are made of several panels hinged together that fold and slide to one or both sides, opening almost the full width of the opening.
Winter light and glass choice in Bridport
Winter days in Bridport are short: about 7 h 57 min of daylight on 21 December, with the sun peaking near 16°. That low angle reaches deep into south-facing rooms, so we match the glass to each elevation rather than using one spec for the whole house.

Rules for bifold doors in England
In England, replacement external doors must meet 1.4 W/m²K, or a door set energy rating of band C (more than 60% glazed) or band B (other doors). Replacement external doors fall under the same energy rules: a competent person scheme installer (such as FENSA or Certass) self-certifies the work and notifies the council, or a building control body approves it.
Before ordering: Replacing doors on a house is normally permitted development if the new ones look similar. Flats need planning permission for a change that alters their appearance, an Article 4 direction may mean permission is needed, and listed buildings need listed building consent.
How it works
