Triple glazed bifold doors in Wrexham
From the first measure to the handover pack, we handle triple glazed bifold doors for homes in Wrexham and the rest of Clwyd.
Slim, strong bifolds rated for heavy triple glass. Bifold doors are made of several panels hinged together that fold and slide to one or both sides, opening almost the full width of the opening.
Winter light and glass choice in Wrexham
Winter days in Wrexham are short: about 7 h 33 min of daylight on 21 December, with the sun peaking near 14°. That low angle reaches deep into south-facing rooms, so we match the glass to each elevation rather than using one spec for the whole house.

Rules for bifold doors in Wales
In Wales, replacement external doors must meet 1.4 W/m²K, or a door set energy rating of band C (more than 60% glazed) or band B (other doors). Replacement external doors fall under the same energy rules as windows: a competent person scheme installer self-certifies the work, or building control approves it.
Planning: Householder permitted development rules do not cover flats, and councils can remove rights with Article 4 directions. Listed buildings need listed building consent. Check with your council before changing the style or material of a front door.
How it works
We start with a survey, not a sales pitch: measurements, the structure above any bays, trickle-vent needs and escape windows. The quote that follows fixes the price, and anything unexpected on the day is agreed with you first.
- Every opening measured, including escape and vent needs
- Frames rated for the weight of triple glass
- Old windows removed and taken away
- Each opening closed up the same day
